A strong day for Indian markets as benchmark indices closed at fresh closing record highs. The Nifty50 climbed 11,450 while Sensex rallied over 200 points. The Nifty50 formed a bullish candle on daily charts but analysts still advise investors to remain cautious.

Buying in select Index heavyweights boosted benchmark indices and pushed them to finally close the day with gains of over 0.25 percent.

But, mid-caps and small-caps continued to underperform the broader.

On the macro front, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reportedly said that India's central bank will need to gradually tighten monetary policy further due to rising inflation, mainly driven by higher oil prices and a falling rupee.

Since last few years BITCOIN And CryptoCurrency Trading is making a lot of noise. Investors especially in the western countries have shown a lot of Interest in BITCOIN And CryptoCurrency Trading.

Bitcoin is a new currency that was created in 2009 by an unknown person using the alias Satoshi Nakamoto. Transactions are made with no middle men – meaning, no banks! There are no transaction fees and no need to give your real name. More merchants are beginning to accept them: You can buy webhosting services, pizza or even manicures.

Why Bitcoins?

Bitcoins can be used to buy merchandise anonymously. In addition, international payments are easy and cheap because bitcoins are not tied to any country or subject to regulation. Small businesses may like them because there are no credit card fees. Some people just buy bitcoins as an investment, hoping that they’ll go up in value.

Acquiring Bitcoins

Buy on an Exchange: Several market places called “bitcoin exchanges” allow people to buy or sell bitcoins using different currencies. Mt. Gox is the largest bitcoin exchange

Can You Trade BITCOIN in India?

Yes you can. There are brokers who allow you to trade BITCOIN and CryptoCurrency in India butit is not recommended to trade.

I will tell you why.

Reason 1 not to trade BITCOIN:

Look at BITCOIN price in Rupees as on 15-Nov-2017 time 12.25 pm India Time:

In other words 1 BITCOIN equals Rs. 4 lakh, 49 thousand, 334.96 as of on 15-Nov-2017 time 12.25 pm India Time. Will you risk that much money to buy just 1 BITCOIN? At least I will NEVER.

BITCOIN price in USD as on 15-Nov-2017 time 12.25 pm India Time:

Reason 2 not to trade BITCOIN:

As of today this is what I see in most BITCOIN trading websites:

₹ 4,86,800.00 BUY
₹ 4,84,000.00 SELL

If you buy and decide to sell straight away you are set to lose ₹ 2800 + brokerage (though brokerage is low and there is no tax as BITCOIN is not controlled by governments).

Reason 3 not to trade BITCOIN:

Most people do not understand BITCOIN, so it is better not to invest in a business that you do not understand. Moreover governments all over the world are against it.

So you don’t know what LAW will KILL BITCOIN & CryptoCurrency Trading. The day governments kills it all your investments become ZERO on BITCOIN or CryptoCurrency.

Reason 4 not to trade BITCOIN:

Another point : Let us say someone invested $7000 in BITCOIN and made $14000 in 3 months.

In percentage terms that is 100% return in 3 months but in real world that’s just $7000 made with too much risk. BITCOIN can go up and down 10% in one day.

You will never invest in anything that can crash as much as 29% in a day at such a high price.

Greed is the biggest killer of money – BITCOIN And CryptoCurrency Trading is one of them.

Posted by suhani varma on Thursday, October 01, 2015 with No comments

The BSE Sensex relinquished most of its gains to close marginally higher at 26227 and the Nifty ended marginally down at 7946.10. The BSE midcap and smallcap index were far more robust unlike their larger peers. However, the indices closed marginally higher. For most part of the day the larger market traded flat-to-positive although it opened by testing the 8000 level as overnight US stocks ended higher. Lupin closed the day top grosser on the Sensex with over 4 percent gains.

Other contributors to the 30-stock index were Infosys, Reliance, Larsen and TCS. IT services firm HCL Technologies stuck out as the biggest Nifty loser after it sounded revenue alarm owing to adverse currency movement and issues with a client in the public services vertical.Maruti was another big loser following lower-than-expected September vehicle sales. Ultratech Cement and Sun Pharma saw handsome gains on the Nifty. Banking stocks added to the injury as heavyweights HDFC Bank, HDFC and ICICI Bank fell much as 5.8 percent and 5 percent. Suven Life (up 7.3 perent), RCF , Delta Corp and Bharti infratel and HCC were big midcap gainers. Auto sector was more active but the September sales were a mixed bag. The month gone by saw strong MHCV sales but muted passenger vehicles growth and steep fall in tractor sales due to dip in rural demand.

Sensex, Nifty Recover; Auto & Pharma Support, HDFC Down

Posted by suhani varma on Friday, June 26, 2015 with No comments

JSW Steel, India's third-largest steel producer, does not see further increase in steel import duty, billionaire Chairman Sajjan Jindal said today, after a federal minister said a decision on a hike was expected within a week. Many steel companies, such as JSW Steel, Tata Steel and Kalyani Steels, have seen profits come under pressure in recent quarters due to surging imports of steel from countries such as China and Russia. Last week, India hiked import duty on certain steel products by up to 2.5 percentage points. Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Anant Geete said today the government would consider further increase within a week. Jindal said the surging steel imports into India would not reduce unless the government takes more measures.

The market recovered from its day's low, supported by technology, auto, pharma and select banks stocks. The Sensex fell 31.14 points to 27864.83 and the Nifty declined 2.90 points to 8395.10. About 1145 shares have advanced, 1401 shares declined, and 157 shares are unchanged on the BSE.

Wall St Edges Up In Quiet Session; Nasdaq Ends At Record

Posted by suhani varma on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 with No comments

US stocks ended with slight gains on Tuesday, with the Nasdaq eking out another record close while investors continued to await clarity on whether Greece could reach a deal to prevent defaulting on its loans. The day's action was quiet, with trading volume below average.

While energy shares rose alongside a jump in the price of crude oil, a sharp rise in the US dollar capped broader gains. While there were no major developments involving Greece, investors continued to hope that the country's newest budget proposals - introduced on Monday - would avert a looming default.

Greece needs fresh funds to avoid defaulting on a USD1.8 billion debt repayment to the International Monetary Fund on June 30. Equities have been largely driven by Greece lately, with investors concerned that if the country defaults, it may have to leave the euro or the European Union, potentially shaking the region's economic foundations. "The market seems to expect that this will end favorably, or at least benignly, but I think people need to be nimble right now as circumstances could change at any time," said Steve Sosnick, equity-risk manager at Timber Hill/Interactive Brokers Group in Greenwich, Connecticut.
