Asian stocks traded mixed on Wednesday, with Chinese markets leading losses after U.S. index provider MSCI said it would put on hold the inclusion of mainland-listed A-shares in its emerging market index. US stocks finished flat as investors eyed a recovery in bond yields and economic indicators that could shed light on the timing of a rate hike.
The blue-chip Dow and the S&P 500 ended in neutral territory, while the Nasdaq Composite shed 0.15 percent.
