BSE Mid-Cap Index is trading up 0.85% at 15,734, whereas BSE Small-Cap Index is trading up 1.30% at 16,467.
NCLT admits Videocon Industries under insolvency and bankruptcy code. Videocon locked in 5% lower circuit.
Sadbhav Infrastructure board approves raising of fund upto Rs3,000cr via issue of securities. Stock trading higher at 2.79%.
Hindustan Construction wins Rs737cr contract for Bangladesh nuclear power plant. The stock is trading up 3%.
ONGC (+1.69%), ICICI Bank (+1.18%), L&T (+0.97%), BPCL (0.89%) were the top gainers on the NSE.
Infratel (-0.54%), Bharti Airtel (-0.51%), Coal India (-0.33%), IOC (-0.31%) were the top losers on NSE.
The India VIX is down 4.06% at 12.0400.
Out of 2028 stocks traded on the NSE, 300 declined, 1,288 advanced and 440 remained unchanged today.
A total of six stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 54 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
