SGX Nifty is currently trading 10 points lower at 11,379. Markets could witness a bit of sideways consolidation after witnessing a sharp correction in yesterday’s trade. The economic turmoil in Turkey has affected the equity markets world over with the Turkish Lira continuing to hit record lows.

On the domestic front, there was some positive news with Inflation data coming in at a nine-month low. We have come to the end of the earnings season with only a handful of companies left to announce their Q1 results. Some of the prominent companies that would announce their results today are Allahabad Bank, Dilip Buildcon, Grasim, IDBI Bank, Spice Jet and Sun Pharma.
