Hanging man’s low of 10,495 is crucial support below which Nifty is likely to turn weak in short-term. However, a break above the 10,560-10,580 would mean the momentum is likely to continue.
Earlier, benchmark indices opened higher tracking global cues. This was the 10th consecutive trading session when the indices started off with gains. BSE Sensex Index is set to post its longest winning streak since October 2007.

The BSE Sensex was up 105.17 points at 34,500.23 and the Nifty rose 23.50 points to 10,572.20. NSE Nifty FMCG Index was leading the sectoral pack, while Nifty PSU Bank Index was the top sectoral loser

Wipro (+1.11%), Yes Bank (+1.01%), Adani Ports (+0.98%), Eicher Motors (+0.96%), Vedanta (+0.95%) were the top gainers on the NSE.

BPCL (-0.78%), Infosys (-0.60%), Titan (-0.56%), IOC (-0.42%), Grasim (-0.33%) were the top losers on the NSE.

At the opening bell, Nifty Midcap was up 68 points. IRB Infrastructure, Tata Sponge, Fortis Healthcare, Jagran Prakashan, Dabur India, Indian Hume Pipe and VIP Industries gained up to 5%.

Out of 2,033 stocks traded on the NSE, 929 advanced, 666 declined and 438 remained unchanged today.

A total of 32 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 19 stocks touched a new 52-week low
