Equity benchmark indices opened in the negative zone as losses were seen in realty, auto, and pharma stocks.
The Sensex was opened lower by 67 points at 38,633, while the Nifty was at 11,603, down marginally by 1 point.
Bharti Airtel, Yes Bank, Zee, Infosys and Tech Mahindra were top gainers on Nifty, while Asian Paints, Sun Pharma, BPCL, Indiabulls Housing, and IOC fell the most.
