The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 25,960 down 162 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,856 down 59 points. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.52% at 10,445, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.26% at 11,168.
All sectore are showing weakness on BSE except consumer durable and auto sector is postive on BSE. Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hero MotoCorp, Axis Bank, Bajaj Auto and Sun Pharma are among the gainers, whereas ONGC, Hindalco,, Dr. Reddy's Lab, GAIL, NTPC, Infosys and BHEL are losing sheen on BSE.
The India VIX (Volatility) index is down 0.3% to 16.98. Out of 1,701 stocks traded on the NSE, 655 declined and 661 advanced today. A total of 16 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trades today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
