The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 25,802 down 18 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,838 down 12 points. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.28% at 10,928, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.35% at 11,459.
Some buying activity is seen in consumer durable, power, realty and energy sectors, while auto, banking, FMCG and IT sector are showing weakness on BSE. Wipro, Hero MotoCorp, Coal India, Cipla, Axis Bank, HUL and HDFC Bank are among the gainers, whereas Sun Pharma, ITC, Bharti Airtel, GAIL, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki and Infosys are losing sheen on BSE.
