Domestic equity benchmarks are likely to open for trading on a poornote on Monday, taking cues from other Asian markets ahead of the December quarter earnings season that begins on Tuesday.
At 07:45 am, Nifty50 futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange were trading 44 points lower at 7,560, indicating a gap-down opening for the domestic market. While no major economic data is scheduled for release during the day, investors would start building up expectations from December quarter earnings of bluechip companies such as TCS.
