Nifty is firmly trading above crucial level of 8400 at 8424.70 level. Realty and PSU Banks are top performing sectors. IT, Pharma and FMCG are in the weak position. Sensex is trading flat to positive.
Market Bias is positive with 915 advances and 537 declines on NSE.
Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the WPI data today. WPI inflation is increased to 3.39%. Food prices are cooled down. At 02.15 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 27321.41 up 83.35 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8424.70 up 24.35 points. A total of 43 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 10 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.27% at 12673.29, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.58% at 12763.58. Adani Port, Idea, Tata Steel, Tata Motors are among the Nifty 50 top gainers, whereas HCL Tech, Infosys, Eicher Motors, Tata Power and Reliance are among the Nifty 50 top losers. The INDIA VIX is trading at 14.3825 up 4.08%.
