The Sensex on January 11, opened in green and is trading strong. The advance and decline ratio as at 10.52 am stands at 1506/693 favouring bullishness. The Sensex as at 10.52 am is trading at 27035.61, up by 136 points.
However, here are ten stocks which are gainers in the index. Tata Steel, Coal India, Lupin, Adani Ports, L&T, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC and Sun Pharma. These stocks are trading up in the range of 0.79% to 3.67%. Tata Steel is the highest gainer in the Sensex as the metals stocks are thriving on the Street, post a steep rise in International coking prices. The BSE Metal index too is up by 4%.
Tata Steel Ltd is currently trading at Rs 445, up by Rs 14.1 or 3.27% from its previous closing of Rs 430.9 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 434.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs 450 and Rs 432 respectively. So far 8350797(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 41849.67 crore.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 440.9 on 11-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 211.3 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 431.5 and Rs 401.75 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.35 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.14 % and 26.51 % respectively. The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
