The Sensex continued its rally for second day in opening trade today. All the sectoral indices were trading in the positive zone with gains up to 1.9%, led by banking, FMCG and capital goods.Equity benchmark indices continued to trade around record highs, with the Sensex rising more than 350 points. Banking stocks gained today after media report stated that the government is considering allowing 100% FDI in the banking sector.
the BSE Sensex was trading at 35,422, up 340 points, while the broader Nifty50 index was ruling at 10,859, up 70 points.

Sanghvi Forging & Engineering stock zoomed 5% after the company announced that it has bagged orders worth Rs11cr from Oil & Gas Sector.

Shares of Panacea Biotec soared 7% after signing two long-term agreement with Serum Institute.

HDFC Bank has crossed its market capitalization of Rs5 lakh cr, retaining the third position after Reliance Industries and TCS.

The BSE Mid-cap is trading down 0.35% while BSE Small-cap indices is up 0.35%, respectively.

Volatility index India VIX inched up 0.34% at 13.9075.

HDFC Bank (+2.8%), HDFC (+2.5%), ITC (+2%), IndusInd Bank (+2.4%) and Yes Bank (+2.3%) were the top gainers on Nifty50.

Infratel (-4.6%), Vedanta (- 3.2%), Hindalco (-2.9%), Tata Steel (-2.3%) and HPCL (-1.7%) were the top losers in today’s trade.

Out of 2,011 stocks traded on the NSE, 888 advanced, 777 declined and 346 remained unchanged today.

A total of 76 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while three stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
