Shares of ICICI Bank rose after foreign brokerage firm Morgan Stanley added the stock in its model portfolio with over 7% weight.The Nifty Bank Index surged nearly 1% to hit its record high of 25,958.80 points led by gains in index heavyweights ICICI Bank and Axis Bank, which surged 1.3-4%.

ICICI Bank is currently trading at Rs329.8, up by Rs12.2 or 3.84% from its previous closing of Rs317.6 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs319.3 and has touched a high and low of Rs330.6 and Rs319.3, respectively.
Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs562.95, up by Rs7.2 or 1.3% from its previous closing of Rs555.75 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 555.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs564.3 and Rs555.75, respectively.
Canara Bank is currently trading at Rs357.6, up by Rs3.6 or 1.02% from its previous closing of Rs354 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs353 and has touched a high and low of Rs358.2 and Rs353, respectively.
Bank of Baroda is currently trading at Rs164.25, up by Rs1.7 or 1.05% from its previous closing of Rs162.55 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs163.5 and has touched a high and low of Rs164.4 and Rs162.7, respectively.
