Sensex, Nifty Choppy; Banking, Consumer Durables Drag

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 25,851 down six points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,865 down seven points. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.32% at 10,687, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.38% at 10,834. Some buying activity is seen in capital goods, pharma, fmcg, oil&gas, realty and IT sectors, while banking, consumer durables, auto and power sectors are showing weakness on BSE.

Maruti Suzuki, HUL, Sun Pharma, L&T, ONGC, Cipla and BHEL are among the gainers, whereas Vedanta, M&M, Hero Motocorp, HDFC, Tata Motors, Tata Steel and Dr. Reddy's Lab are losing sheen on BSE.
