The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 25,759 up 109 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,886 up 25 points. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.12% at 11,202, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.14% at 11,138.
ONGC, Axis Bank, HDFC, GAIL, Hero MotoCorp, L&T and Asian Paints are among the gainers, whereas NTPC, HUL, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, Adani Ports, SBI and Tata Steel are losing sheen on BSE. Some buying activity is seen in oil and gas, capital goods, auto, realty, banking, telecom, industrial, energy and IT sectors, while utilities and power sectors are showing weakness on BSE.
The INDIA VIX is down 3.88% at 16.3700. Out of 1,811 stocks traded on the NSE, 730 declined, 791 advanced and 290 remained unchanged today. A total of 47 stocks rAt 3:20 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 25,759 up 109 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,886 up 25 points.
