Pre-Market : Nifty May Open On Cautious Note Amid Weak Global Cues

Posted by suhani varma on Monday, October 19, 2015 with No comments

The domestic stock market is likely to open on a cautious note on Monday, but benchmark Nifty50 may still attempt to scale past 8,350-8,400 levels during the rest of the truncated week. At 07:45 am, Nifty50 stock futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange were trading 14.50 points lower at 8,246.50, indicating a negative opening in the domestic bourse. Asian markets were trading sideways. Last week, US stocks clocked with gains for the third consecutive week.

An impressive performance by index heavyweight Reliance IndustriesBSE 4.50 % in September quarter earnings, which were released after market hours on Friday, is likely to generate some euphoria on the counter and add strength to the index.
