Nifty and Sensex dragged down by pharma, metal and PSU banks. IT sector keeps the gains with HCL appreciating over 3.8%. Metal sector dragged down by Tata Steel, SAIL, and Hindalco.
  
At 3:00 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 33,424, down by 306points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,366down by 85 points.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down by 1.33% at 16,566.75 whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading down by 1.27% at 17,683.77.

HCL, TCS, Infosys, HPCL, and Tech Mahindra are among the gainers, whereas YES Bank, Lupin, Cipla, SBI Bank,and Bharti Airtel are losing steam on NSE.

Some buying seen in IT, FMCG, and Teck sectors, whereas Energy, Telecom, Consumer Durables, and Oil & Gas sectors show weakness on the BSE.

The India Vix is down by 0.24% at 13.02.

Out of 1,975 stocks traded on the NSE, 405 advanced, 1268 declined, and 302 remained unchanged today.

A total of 116 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 24 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
