Interestingly, Bank Nifty 30Nov2017 26000CE and 25500 PE added fresh short positions indicating a ceiling and floor level for the index.
In today’s trade, markets continued to remain resilient and posted a good recovery in last one hour of trade lead by big heavyweights like Infosys, Reliance which gained more than 2% each.
Market breadth remained slightly in favor of advances with ADV/DEC ratio closing at 1:1x.
Nifty PCR continued to move higher, closing at 1.35x.
For the second consecutive day, Nifty and Bank Nifty futures ended on a flat note with no major activity in their future contract.
Tracking the options front, Nifty in the money options continued to shed open interest, indicating a covering of short positions while Nifty out of the money puts like 10300PE strike saw an addition of fresh short positions with the open interest soaring higher.
Interestingly, Bank Nifty 30Nov2017 26000CE and 25500 PE added fresh short positions indicating a ceiling and floor level for the index.
