Nifty steady above 10,208 level as the closing hour approaches as strong gains from IT stocks push the indices up. PSU Bank sector appreciates by 2.5%, backed up by Indian Bank and PNB, gaining around 4%. Infosys appreciates by 4% to lead the IT index.
the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 33,086 up by 326 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,208 up by 90 points.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up by 1% at 16,491 whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading higher by 0.97% at 17,440.

A total of 46 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 33 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
PSU Bank Index surges 2.5%. PNB, Indian Bank (+4%), OBC (+3.5%), Canara Bank, BoB (+3%), SBI (+2%).
Nifty IT Index gain 1% as rupee weakens against dollar. KPIT Tech, Infy (+3%), Mindtree, Tata Elxsi, TCS (+2%).
HDIL stock rises 2% on making part payment of dues to Andhra Bank.
