In today’s trade, Nifty saw last hour selling pressure and ended at three-week lows shedding ~0.4% at the close.

Broader markets continued its underperformance against the benchmark index.

Nifty futures added fresh open interest to the tune of ~6.27 lakh shares, mainly short positions.

Tracking the options front, Nifty 10200 to 10500 call options strikes saw massive addition in short positions with open interest surging higher, while short covering was witnessed in 10300PE and 10100PE.

India Vix ended the day at 14.17, up 1%.
