After trading lower for a while, Nifty has recovered and is now above the 10,340 level. The gains of both the indices are backed by blooming Realty stocks: Prestige(+6%), Oberoi Realty(+3%), Godrej Properties (+3%). Nifty Media Index continues to shine among the other sectoral indices, gaining 1.75%, with strong push of Zee Entertainment (+3%).
Sensex is trading at 33,559, up 80 points, while Nifty is trading at 10,346, up 19 points.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading lower by 0.14% at 16,771, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading at 17,872, up 0.33% .

On the BSE, Industrials(+0.50%), Auto(+0.52%) and Realty (+1.12%) sectors gained, while Energy(-0.30%), Healthcare(-0.42%), IT(-0.06%), Utilities(-0.21%), Telecom(-0.86%), and Metal(-0.66%) show weakness.
India Vix is trading higher by 2.13% at 14.00 level.
Among the 1,980 stocks being traded, 816 advanced, 814 declined and 350 remained unchanged.
A total of 74 stocks have touched 52-week high, while 14 stocks dipped to 52-week low since morning on the NSE.
