The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 26,202 up 33 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,964 up 10 points. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.28% at 11,107, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.38% at 11,706.
JK Tyre, Delta Corp, PMC Fin, Renuka Sugar and Ceat are among the gainers, whereas Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Infosys, Axis Bank and NTPC are losing sheen on BSE. The INDIA VIX was down 1.61% at 15.3825. Out of 1,722 stocks traded on the NSE,4 52 declined and 877 advanced today.
A total of 36 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trades today, while six stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
