The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 26,052 down 66 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,908 down 23 points. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.02% at 11,096, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.02% at 11,692. All sectors are showing weakness on BSE.
Wipro, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, Infosys, L&T, Maruti Suzuki and NTPC are among the gainers, whereas Vedanta, Hindalco, ONGC, Tata Steel, ITC, BHEL, Lupin, Dr. Reddy's Lab and State Bank of India are losing sheen on BSE.
The India VIX (Volatility) index is down 0.12% to 15.46. Out of 1,731 stocks traded on the NSE, 720 declined and 633 advanced today. A total of 36 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trades today, while 6 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
