The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 25,211 down 41 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 7,662 down 21 points. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.03% at 10,705, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.09% at 11,315.
Tata Steel, Hindalco, Vedanta, Dr.Reddy's, HUL, Infosys, Lupin, Tata Motors and SBI are among the gainers, whereas NTPC, ITC, GAIL, Bajaj – Auto, Axis Bank, M&M, L&T and Wipro are losing sheen on BSE. The India VIX (Volatility) index up 0.59% to 16.3900.
Out of 1,757 stocks traded on the NSE, 504 declined and 988 advanced today. A total of 11 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trades today, while 42 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
