Nifty and Bank Nifty Index ended in green posting ~0.2%/~0.3 gains. Nifty/ Bank futures contract continued to add fresh open interest to the tune of ~7.97/0.71 lakh shares, mainly long positions.
Closing Commentary: Mid-caps on a hot streak
In today’s trade, markets continued to inch higher as the broader markets outperformed. Nifty midcap index closed ~1% higher and managed to close at the highest point since September 21.
Advance/Decline ratio favoured bulls as market breadth remained robust. Nifty and Bank Nifty Index ended in green posting ~0.2%/~0.3 gains.
Nifty/ Bank futures contract continued to add fresh open interest to the tune of ~7.97/0.71 lakh shares, mainly long positions. Tracking the options front, marginal hint of short unwinding was witnessed in Bank Nifty ITM call options strike as the index marched higher.
