Share indices recouped early losses and gained, with the Nifty 50 crossing the benchmark 10000-mark for the first time in three weeks.

Gold prices climbed to their highest in more than a week today as renewed concerns over North Korea's nuclear ambitions stoked safe-haven demand for the precious metal and weighed on the dollar.

At 11:32 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,865 up 51 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9,988 up mere eight points.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading marginally down at 15,835, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.5% at 16,709.

Dr.Reddy’s, Coal India, IndusInd Bank and Tata Steel are among the gainers, whereas Power Grid, ONGC, Aurobindo and Indiabulls HF are losing sheen on NSE.

Tata Teleservices stock tanks 12% on reports that the company is likely to wind down operations in phases.

Sobha stock zooms over 6.5% as Jul-Sept realty sales up 8% on quarter.

Kalpataru Power's stock advances 1% on announcement of new order win.

JSPL gets Rs 1,121 Cr on divestment of oxygen plant assets at Angul & Raigarh units. Stock zooms 4.5%.

Jewellers stocks gain as norms for buying jewellery above Rs 50,000 relaxed. TBZ, Thangamayil Jewellery stock climbs over 5%.

SPARC stock drops 8% after Baclofen GRS did not meet primary end point in placebo controlled studies.

Yarn stocks gain after GST on man made yarn reduced from 18% to 12%. Banswara stock gains 4%.
