Nifty hovers around the 10,150 mark with Telecom sector maintaining its gains. Power Sector makes a comeback with the rise of Power Grid by 1.78%.
At 12:10P,M the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,247, up by 213 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 10,157 up by 60 points.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up by 0.05% at 15,968 whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up by 0.46% at 16,982.
Bharti Airtel, Infratel, Coal India, ICICI bank and Power Grid are among the gainers, whereas GAIL, Zee Entertainment, NTPC, Dr Reddy, and ITC are losing steam on NSE.
SC to hear JP Associate’s plea on Oct 23. Stock rises 3%.
Logistic stocks gain. Transport Corp (+7%), Patel Int, GATI (+4%), Snowman Logi (+3%), VRL Logistics (+1.5%).
Andhra Bank crosses its 200 day EMA placed at 56.5 and has formed a bullish Hammer candlestick pattern on daily charts.
Some buying activity is seen in Telecom, Basic Materials, consumers goods, Energy, Finance, Healthcare, Power and Tech, while FMCG, Utilities, and Realty show weakness on BSE.
The INDIA VIX is up by 0.02% at 11.04.
Out of 1,971 stocks traded on the NSE, 947 advanced, 671 declined, and 353 remained unchanged today.
A total of 66 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 15 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
