Benchmark indices tend to maintain their choppy trade as the market is nearing to the closing hours of trade. Broader market indices maintained their upward momentum throughout the day.Meanwhile, Nifty Realty is gaining on bourses among the sectoral indices on BSE. The index gained 1.34% or 3 points at 279 level. Phoenix Mills is the top gainer in the index trading higher by 7.72% at Rs 549.50 per share.Other stocks in the index viz. HDIL is trading up 2.54% at Rs 56.60 per share, DLF is trading higher by 2.54% at Rs 170.80 per share.
On the contrary, Brigade is slipping in trade by 1.52% at Rs 246.50 per share, Godrej Properties is down 0.71% at Rs 639 per share.Aurobindo Pharma is the top index gainer in the Nifty 50 index gaining higher by 3.06% at Rs 747.10 per share. At 3 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is down 27 points at 31,644, while Nifty is down by 5 points at 9909. A total of 53 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 41 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.57% at 15,703, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.95% at 16,474 level.Aurobindo Pharma, Yes Bank and Ambuja Cements are among the gainers, whereas Bharti Infratel, Tech Mahindra and Power Grid Corporation are losing on the NSE.The INDIA VIX is up down 1.56% at 11.6.
