BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 index is in uptrend mood on Tuesday’s morning hours of trade indicating a strong bullish undertone prevailing in the market.Broader market indices are also gaining nearly 1% at this hour of trade. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank traded in negative territory while other sectoral indices on NSE are trading in positive zone.Nifty Bank tanked lower by 0.16% or 38.15 points at 24,014 levels majorly contributed by HDFC Bank and State Bank of India.
HDFC Bank tanked lower by 0.45% at Rs 1787.50 per share and State Bank of India tanked 0.32% at Rs 253.05 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,495 up 211 points, while Nifty is trading at 9847 up 58 points. A total of 20 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 17 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.Tata Motors, GAIL and Bharti Infratel are among the gainers while Power Grid Corporation, Maruti Suzuki and Kotak Mahindra Bank are losing on the NSE.
