Equity benchmarks remained rangebound in afternoon as investors digested the outcome of Federal Reserve meeting and focussed more of corporate earnings.
The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 4.13 points at 33,596.14 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 9.90 points to 10,430.60.
The market breadth turned negative as about 1,328 shares declined against 1,162 advancing shares on the BSE.
Nesher Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Zydus Pharmaceuticals USA, has received the final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration to market Dextroamphetamine Sulfate and Amphetamine Sulfate tablets.
Tablets are available in strengths of 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg and 30 mg.
