Indian benchmark indices slightly broke out of consolidation prevailing since 10.30 hours. Nifty and Sensex are trading at 9237 and 29790 levels gaining 55 and 215 points respectively. Smallcap surges 0.8% while Midcap underperforms with 0.4% gains.
FMCG is up by 1.55%. PSU Banks gain 1.9% and Financial Service sector too gains 1.1%. Others are Pvt Bank sector, Realty that gained nearly 1% each. ITC, Powergrid, Bank of Baroda and ICICI Bank top the Nifty50 list and gain 2% plus each. Adani Ports remains the top loser with 5% losses.
