Berger Paints is trading higher by 4% at Rs 242.6 per share. Asian Paints is trading higher by 0.2% at Rs 1075 per share.There are 365 advances, 1229 declines and 353 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong negative undertone floating in the market.

Eicher Motors, Infosys, Bharti Infratel, Coal India and Hero MotoCorp are among the gainers, whereas Grasim, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and Maruti are losing sheen on NSE in the first trading hour.
