The BSE Telecom index is the top losing index during lunch hours on Friday, with Bharti Airtel majorly contributing to the index losses and dragging it to lower levels. The index is trading at 1273 down by 1.15%.The stocks in the index such as Bharti Airtel is down by 1.9%, Bharti Infratel is down by 1.3% and Himachal Futuristic Communications is down by 0.96%.
The stocks in the index that are trading in green are GTL Infrastructure up by 3.9%, ITI up by 3.6% and OnMobile Global up by 2.8%. Meanwhile, the stock of Federal Bank is trading at Rs 102 up by 8.3%, on account of healthy fourth quarter earnings results, whereas the stock of Ceat is down by 1.8% at Rs 1515 on BSE.
