Strides Shasun, an Indian pharmaceutical company, during Tuesday’s trade jumped almost 3% as the company announced that US health regulator has successfully completed inspection at its Cuddalore facility in Tamil Nadu. Nifty Realty index has extended Monday’s gains. The Delta Corp Limited is the top gainer in the index trading higher by 7% at Rs 178.2 per share.
There are 1023 advances, 581 declines and 351 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positive bias floating in the market. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 29846 up 190 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9282 up 65 points. A total of 144 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 14 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
