Realty companies such as HDIL, DB Realty, DLF saw a sudden surge on Friday during pre-lunch hours. HDIL is trading up by 6.3%, DLF is up by 7.9%, Prestige is up by 3% on BSE. Real estate major, DLF is contributing nearly 40% to the BSE Realty index gains and lifting it to higher levels. Other stocks in the sectoral index such as Indiabulls Real Estate is up by 2.91%, Unitech is up by 2.58%, Phoenix Ltd is up by 2.5%.

Meanwhile, Oberoi Realty is the only stock in the index since morning trading in red and is down by 0.4%. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 29341 down 80 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9115 down 21 points. A total of 123 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 14 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
