The investors in the market are cheering the all-time high of Nifty and record level of Bank Nifty. PSU Banks were responsible to push the Bank Nifty index upwards. All the sectoral indices on NSE are trading in positive territory. There are 895 advances, 754 declines and 309 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive bias floating in the market.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 29,916 up 260 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9301 up 80 points. A total of 163 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 15 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.9% at 14761, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.57% at 15377. All the sectoral indices on BSE are trading in positive territory.
Bharti Infratel, BPCL, M&M, IOC and Indiabulls Housing Finance are among the gainers, whereas Tata Power, TCS, NTPC, Aurobindo Pharma and Eicher Motors are losing sheen on NSE. The INDIA VIX is down 3.93% at 11.16.
