Nifty and Sensex are trading down at 9184 and 29622 falling marginally with 0.15% and 0.22% respectively. Midcap and Smallcap outperform with 0.4% and 0.6% gains. India VIX is trading down 0.81%.

IT sector tumbles 0.7% where IT giant Infosys joins the losers’ race with 1.6% downside. Wipro too falls 1.2%. Media on the contrary is up 0.8% with TV Today and Eros Media gaining 2% plus each . Apart from IOC, BPCL and Infratel, Tata Motors and TATAMTRDVR surge more than 2% after Tata Motors reported 9% growth in Tata Motors Group global wholesales data.
