The Sensex opened 50 points down at 26,348, while the NSE Nifty opened 50 points down at 8,039. 
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 26,347 down 51 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8,103 up 15 points.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.68% at 11,389, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 1.44% at 11,441. On the economy front, Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian said that Brexit from the European Union, was a sad development but India would not be affected by it due to India’s solid macroeconomic.

SBI, ITC, Sun Pharma, L&T, Adani Ports, Lupin, GAIL, Adani Ports, and Axis Bank are among the gainers, whereas TCS, Infosys,  Power Grid, Maruti Suzuki, Asian Ports, Tata Steel and Coal India are losing sheen on BSE. Some buying activity is seen in oil & gas, realty, basic materials, capital goods, banking, pharma, FMCG and metal sectors, while IT, telecom, auto and teck sectors are showing weakness on BSE.

The INDIA VIX is down 0.13% at 18.6025. Out of 1,821 stocks traded on the NSE, 320 declined, 1,225 advanced and 276 remained unchanged today. A total of 48 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trades today, while 23 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

Man Infraconstruction Ltd stock was higher by 3% at Rs.44. Report says that one of India's ace investors, Radhakishan Damani, acquired shares in the company.
