People in a business meeting checking the market behaviour Power stocks are buzzing on bourses in post lunch hours. Adani Power is up by 5.7%, Crompton Greaves is up by 2.5%, Reliance Power is up by 1.8%, Suzlon is up by 1.4% and PTC is up by 1.2%.

Meanwhile, CESC is down by 0.9%, Reliance Infra is down by 0.84%, NNTPC is down by 0.2%, BHEL is down by 0.1%.Adani Power and Power Grid is majorly contributing to the BSE Power index gains and lifting the index to higher levels.

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 29008 down 39 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8950 down 13 points. A total of 42 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
