The BSE Auto index in closing sessions is down by nearly 350 points. Tata Motors and M&M are contributing heavily to the index downfall.
Tata Motors is down by 2.3% and M&M is down by 1.8%. While other stocks in the index like, Motherson Sumi is down by 2.2%, Exide India is down by 2%, Bajaj Auto is down by 1.5%.While Bharat Forge is up by 0.4% and is the only stock trading in green in the index.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 29184 down 300 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9033 down 88 points. A total of 39 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 29 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
