Prestige Estates Projects Limited is trading higher by over 8% at Rs 219 per share. The stock is contributing the most to the BSE Realty index gains. The index is trading higher by 1.2% at 1593 level.

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 29,641 up 110 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9167 up 23 points. A total of 46 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 17 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.5% at 14006, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.8% at 14321.Some buying activity is seen in Realty index, while FMCG, Utilities, Capital Goods and Energy and Oil & Gas indices are showing weakness on BSE.

Adani Ports, Hero MotoCorp, SBIN, Kotak bank and IndusInd Bank are among the gainers, whereas Bharti Infratl, Axis Bank, Amubja Cement, Wipro and HCL techare losing on the NSE. The INDIA VIX is down 2.4% at 12.2.
