Benchmark indices are marginally off lows but still continue to trade in negative teritorry. Sensex lost over 360 points while Nifty is on track to trade at lower levels. Broader market indices are also showcasing negative undertone .
BSE Oil & Gas is one of the gaining indices on BSE. The index soared 0.82% at 14,780 gaining 120 points.Bharat Petroleum Corporation is majorly contributing to index gains and oushing it to trade in higher levels.
The stock is up by 2.07% at Rs 503.30 per share followed by HPCL up 1.99% at Rs 442.80 per share and GAIL is up 1.28% at Rs 379.75 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,438 up 356 points, while Nifty is trading at 9808 down 95 points. A total of 18 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 30 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
