Bulls are ruling the market pushing it to trade near day’s high. Sensex gained over 266 points and further indicating it urge to trade higher. Nifty gained 87 points and in track to trade in 9800 level.July WPI inflation came at 1.88% vs 0.9% for the month of June.
Meanwhile, BSE Consumer Durables is one of the top gaining index during post-lunch hours. Titan Company is majorly contributing to the index gains and pushing it to higher level. Titan Company is up 3.47% at Rs 628.50 per share.
On the contrary Bajaj Electricals is the only loser in the index down 0.29% at Rs 305.70 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,510 up 297 points, while Nifty is trading at 9802 up 91 points. A total of 22 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 43stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
