Nifty reclaimed its 9800 level gaining 92 points whereas Sensex gained over 270 points. BSE Small cap and BSE Mid-cap index gained over 2%.Cipla is the top Nifty gainer soaring over 5.55% at Rs 571.45 per share, followed by Vedanta up 4.41% at Rs 291.40 per share.BSE Metal is one of the top gaining index on Monday. It is up by 3.36% at 12,692. Vedanta is majorly contributing to the index gains and pushing it to higher level.

Other stocks in the index viz. Jindal Steel and Power is up 7.18% at Rs 136.60 per share, National Aluminium Company is up 4.15% at Rs 65.10 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,489 up 0.91%, while Nifty is trading at 9803 up 0.96%. A total of 18 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 37 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
