Markets are trading strong in positive territory showcasing an uptrend on the bourses. Broader market indices are also gaining over 1.5%. Nifty Bank also gained over 180 points or 0.76% at 24,168 level. IDFC is the top index gainer soaring 2.63% at Rs 54.65 per share on NSE. BSE Realty is the top gaining index in the morning session on Monday. It is up by 3.40% at 2027. DLF is contributing majorly to the index gains and pulling it to higher levels.
DLF is trading higher by 8.04% at Rs 167.90 per share on BSE. Prestige Estates Projects also gained 3.28% at Rs 263.00 per share.On the contrary, HDIL is the only loser in the index slipping over 1.8% at Rs 57.30 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,444 up 230 points, while Nifty is trading at 9782 up 72 points. A total of 10 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 28 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
