Nifty and Sensex have been trading lacklustre with marginal gains. 26 Nifty constituents are trading in positive territory while other 24 stocks are losing sheen showing mixed sentiments floating in the market.Bank Nifty has inched up by 47 points at 24,364 level in the closing hour ahead of its weekly expiry of derivative contracts.

There are 996 advances, 646 declines and 318 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive undertone in the market. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,626 up 54 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,867 up 15 points. A total of 42 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 31 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
