Markets are holding to their gains wherein Nifty is eyeing 9950 level and Sensex gained over 100 points.Coal India is the top nifty gainer and is trading up 3.55% at Rs 246.40 per share. BSE Metal index is the top index gainer among sectorial indexes on BSE. The index gained over 2.11% at 13,204 level.
Vedanta is the top index gainer and is contributing majorly to the index gains.Vedanta is trading up 3.95% at Rs 308.90 per share. NMDC is up 3.42% at Rs 125.35 per share and Hindustan Zinc is up 2.62% at Rs 298.20 per share.On the contrary, JSW Steel is the only loser in the index slipping 0.44% at Rs 236.85 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,877 up 106 points, while Nifty is trading at 9938 up 40 points. A total of 33 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 19 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
