Markets are at their day’s low gripped by bearish sentiments. Benchmark indices continue to trade lower followed by BSE Midcap index whereas BSE Small cap index continues to trade in green.Nifty Bank lost 85 points or 0.35% at 24,222 levels majorly dragged by ICICI Bank. ICICI Bank is trading lower by 0.78% at 297.95 per share.
Nifty Metals is the top index loser among sector indices on NSE. The index slipped in trade 30 points or 0.87% at 3447 level. JSW Steel is the top index loser slipping in trade by 1.87% at Rs 254.20 per share followed by Orissa Minerals Development Company down 1.52% at Rs 1,835 per share.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,574 down 71 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,863 down 20 points. A total of 56 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 21 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
