IDFC Bank continues its top position in the index gaining 3.29% at Rs 55.00 per share.Meanwhile, BSE Power is one of the top gaining index among sectorial indexes on BSE. The index is up by 1.61% or 35 points at 2246 level.
Power Grid Corporation of India is majorly contributing to index gains. The stock is up by 1.4% at Rs 222.00 per share. CG Power and Industrial Solutions is up by 5.5% at Rs 79.75 per share and NHPC is up 3.2% at Rs 31.25 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,433 up 219 points, while Nifty is trading at 9782 up 71 points. A total of 14 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 34 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
