Stocks of HOV Services on Wednesday surged almost 15%, following the news of HOV Services combining US-based, Source HOV & Novitex with Quinpario. IT stocks are losing ground and are the worst performers so far on Wednesday’s trade. Infosys is dragging the index down and contributing almost 70% to the index downfall.
Trigyn Technologies is down by 2.06%, Persistent Systems is down by 2.04%, Kellton Tech Solutions is down by 1.94% and Infosys is down by 1.69%.Whereas, Moser Bear India is up by 5.77%, Hexaware is up by 2.88%, Nucleus is up by 2.84% and Ramco Systems is up by 2.67%.

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28901.11 up 139.52 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8952 up 44.30 points. A total of 45 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 10 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.07% at 13595.11, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.09% at 13664.46.
Some buying activity is seen in Energy, Finance, Utilities, Auto and Bankex whereas, FMCG, Healthcare, IT and Capital Goods are showing weakness on BSE. Reliance, Axis Bank, Infratel, Asian Paints and Tata Power are among the gainers, whereas Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Sun Pharma and Eicher Motors are losing on the NSE. The INDIA VIX is up 0.89% at 13.65.
